“Anticipate your purchases” reads a sign in a Casino Supermarché in Monaco, which goes on to warn shoppers that the sale of alcohol will be prohibited from Thursday, May 20.

This temporary ban follows recent regulations for the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix, which prohibit the sale and consumption of alcohol on and around the street circuit.

The highly anticipated return of the Grand Prix has transformed the Principality, and the excitement is building as the big race is just days away. In the meantime, shoppers can rest assured that neighbouring Beausoleil remains open for business.
