The Monaco Government announced on Friday, May 14, that curfew will start at 22:00 from Monday, May 17, instead of at 21:00 at present. In addition, restaurants will be able to serve food until 23:00.
in other measures, swimming pools will be allowed to open.
Bars and cafes will be allowed to open until 19:00, while restaurants will be able to serve employees in Monaco and members of their households for both lunch and dinner. Previously they were barred from evening service.
Masks will not be required on beaches provided that a social distance of 1.5 metres is observed between groups, which should be limited in number to six individuals.
The Government thanked the populace for observing the rules but called on everyone to not let their guard down, pointing out that the slowdown in infections is markedly slower this year than last autumn.
