The number of Monaco residents who received a first coronavirus jab in the week to Thursday, May 6 was 645, taking the total percentage of the population to 36.33 percent, up from 13,289 a week earlier.

A total of just over 12,000 residents – 12,003 – had also received a second dose.

No new cases among Monaco residents were reported on Sunday, following two new cases on Friday and the same number on Saturday. Only one person is being treated for coronavirus at Princess Grace Hospital, a non-resident who is in intensive care.
The number of Monaco residents with mild symptoms recovering at home has fallen to just 17.

Meanwhile, on Sunday May 9 the benchmark infection rate in the Alpes Maritimes had fallen from 155 a week earlier to 102. The new figure for the Principality will be published on Monday, May 10. Last Sunday, May 2, the figure stood at just over 65 per 100,000.
