Three Monaco residents tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, April 23, while six residents were declared fully-recovered.
One Monaco resident is in hospital while eight patients from the catchment area in neighbouring French municipalities are also being treated at CHPG, three of them in intensive care.
Thirty-eight Monaco residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home.
By the end of Thursday, April 22, the cumulative total of people vaccinated with a first dose in Monaco stood at 12,758, equivalent to 33.27 percent of the population and a rise of 664 in the previous seven days. A total of 11,632 have also received a second jab, an increase of 773 on the week.
In the meantime, the benchmark coronavirus infection rate fell to 203 per 100,000 in the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes on Friday. Monaco’s new figure will be known early next week and is already much lower.
