Tests show rise in infection rate
A total of 4,830 PCR and antigen tests took place in Monaco between March 8 and March 14, with a positivity rate of 4.43 percent. Using the standard international measure of positive cases per 100,000, the rate rose during the last week from 176.32 to 221.5. It should be noted that widespread and efficient testing increases the positivity rate.
A child at the kindergarten of François d’Assise – Nicolas Barré school tested positive on Monday, resulting in the class being sent home until March 23 as a precaution.
