French train operator SNCF on Thursday opened ticket sales for the reinstated Nice-Paris night train, which will operate again from April 16. The service had been cancelled in December 2017.
The service will run every day and leave Nice at 19:16 to arrive at Paris-Austerlitz at 06:55, serving Antibes, Cannes, Saint Raphael, Les Arcs, Toulon and Marseille-Blancarde.
In the reverse direction the train will leave Paris at 20:52 and arrive in Nice at 09:06.
Initially, ticket sales will be confined to the holiday period in April until the beginning of May, SNCF said. Prices will start at 19 euros for a reclining seat, 29 euros in a second-class couchette, and 39 euros in a first-class couchette.
Other routes will reopen progressively. Additionally, Austrian rail company OBB will launch a Paris to Vienna night train in December.
