Shimabuku – NMNM

From February 19, the new national museum of Monaco (NMNM) will open the doors of the Villa Paloma for an intriguing art exhibition. The exhibition focuses on a medieval Japanese tale about a 165 metre long mermaid, and will combine a multitude of art forms.

The Opera Monte-Carlo will perform ‘Le Comte Ory’ from 14:00 in the glamorous setting of the Salle Garnier. The performance will be accompanied by the music of Gioachino Rossini.

From 15:00, the Théâtre des Variétés will screen the 2006 Romanian film, ’12h08 À L’Est de Bucarest’ by Corneliu Porumboiu.
