Twelve more residents tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, according to Government sources. Twenty-one residents were declared to be fully recovered.
Saturday, January 23, had witnessed a big surge in coronavirus cases among Monaco residents, with 34 new cases over 24 hours. On Friday the figure was 24 new cases.
Of 31 residents being treated at the Princess Grace Hospital on Sunday evening, four were in intensive care.
A total of 146 residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre.
Meanwhile, in the UK 30,004 new cases and 610 new deaths were reported on Sunday.
