Thaïs’ – a Monte Carlo Opera production

This week the Opéra de Monte Carlo will perform ‘Thaïs’ twice in the Salle Garnier of the Monte-Carlo Casino. The first performance of this lyrical comedy will commence at 14:00 on Tuesday, January 26.

Pas sur la bouche

From 15:00, the Théâtre des Variétés will screen the 2003 French film, ‘Pas sur la bouche’ by Alain Resnais and starring Audrey Tautou.

Traditional Burns Supper

Join Club Vivanova and the British Association of Monaco for a celebration of the life and work of Robbie Burns, the legendary Scottish poet. The celebration will consist of haggis, 12 year old Aberfeldy scotch whisky and much more. A raffle will also be hosted during the event, to raise funds for BAM’s charitable causes.

‘Les Fables de la Fontaine’ – an OPMC production

The Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra present ‘Les Fables de la Fontaine’ from 15:00 at the Auditorium Rainier III. Performed with the younger members of the public in mind, Joan Mompart will narrate the Fables of Fontaine, while Philippe Beran will conduct the philharmonic orchestra.

In the cinema this week
