Twenty-four Monaco residents tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, January 22, while 20 residents were reported to have recovered fully.
Twenty-six residents are being treated for coronavirus at Princess Grace Hospital, including four in intensive care.
A total of 150 residents are recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre.
Meanwhile, in the UK 40,261 new cases and 1,401 new deaths attributed to coronavirus were reported on Friday, January 22, an increase of about eight percent on the previous day in both cases. In France the figures were 22,848 new cases and 346 new deaths on Thursday, January 21, the last day for which numbers were available.
