A young student at the Fontvieille Kindergarten tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday, January 20.
All children in the class were sent home until next Monday, January 25, as a precautionary measure and parents have been asked to be on the lookout for symptoms in their own children.
Staff who have been in contact with the child will be tested for coronavirus.
The school remains open for children in other classes.
