Formula 1’s Monegasque sensation, Charles Leclerc, has tested positive for coronavirus after coming into contact with a positive case. The driver shared the news with his fans via Twitter on January 14:

In the message, Leclerc says that he went into isolation as soon as he was made aware of the person’s positive case, and that a subsequent test revealed that he had indeed contracted coronavirus.

He went on to reassure his fans that he was feeling okay with mild symptoms and said “I will remain in isolation in my home in Monaco in compliance with the regulations set by the local health authorities… Stay safe and take care.”
