After a week that saw record numbers of new coronavirus cases among Monaco residents, the weekend figures witnessed a considerable improvement. On Friday 23 new cases were reported, on Saturday 12 and on Sunday four.
On Sunday evening 18 residents were being treated at Princess Grace Hospital, six in intensive care.
Twenty residents were reported to have fully recovered while 117 residents with mild symptoms were recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre.
Meanwhile, in the UK on Sunday 54,940 new cases and 563 new deaths were reported.
