ISM is the first school in Monaco to be awarded the “Monaco Safe” label. Although this badge was not originally intended for schools, ISM made an application on the grounds of its stringent heath protocols, the school said.

These include the compulsory wearing of masks by all staff, and students over the age of five, strict social distancing and limiting visitors and barriers between different year groups. The school recently launched its own masks which also reflect its partnership with King’s College School in London.

“We are grateful to our parents, students, staff and wider community for their understanding, and cooperation in these essential health measures,” ISM said.
