The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines have arrived in Monaco and the first inoculations will take place on Thursday, December 31, in old peoples’ homes, the Government said on Wednesday.

Two doses will be given 21 days apart.

From the very first days of January, people over 75 years old living in the Principality who have expressed their wish to be vaccinated will be contacted for a vaccination appointment at the Léo Ferré Centre. A letter has already been sent to them by the Government inviting them to contact the Covid Call Centre (92.05.55.00) if they wish to be vaccinated.

Health and Social Affairs Minister Didier Gamerdinger said that “it was important for the Government to quickly receive the first deliveries of vaccines to protect the elderly and the most vulnerable without delay.”
