Monaco reported no new case of coronavirus on Thursday evening. Over the last eleven days, only one new case of coronavirus has been reported in Monaco. The total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the outbreak remains at 94. A total of 35 people have fully recovered. Two patients remain in hospital, both in intensive care.
Across Europe on Friday figures were relatively stable. In Italy on Thursday, 2,646 new cases and 464 new deaths were reported, compared to 3,370 new cases and 437 new deaths on Wednesday. In Spain, there were 4,635 new cases and 440 new deaths compared to 4,211 new cases and 435 new deaths on Wednesday, while in France there were 2,239 new cases and 516 new deaths on Thursday compared to 2,413 new cases and 544 new deaths on Wednesday.
The daily number of coronavirus deaths in the UK has dropped significantly with 589 new hospital deaths reported in the last 24 hours. Down from 791 on Wednesday and 873 on Tuesday, it is the third-lowest lowest single-day total since April 6.
