During the two recent storms that hit the South-East of France, the Fire and Rescue Service of the Alpes-Maritimes requested reinforcement from Monaco’s firefighters.
With the approval of the Prince’s Government, a detachment of seven men helped in pumping operations, using large electric pumps, on Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, November 26 in the industrial area of Tourrades, in Mandelieu, one of the worst-hit towns.
After the latest bad weather this past weekend, new operations took place on Monday in the basement of a residence in Cannes-la-Bocca and continued on Tuesday in flooded homes in the town of Vallauris.
