Seventy-five students who obtained the mention ‘very good’ in the 2019 baccalaureate were congratulated by leading Government figures at a reception at the Hotel and Technical High School on Wednesday, July 10.
Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, was accompanied by Monsignor Barsi, Archbishop of Monaco, Brigitte Boccone-Pagès, Vice-President of the National Council, Isabelle Bonnal, Director of National Education, Youth and Sports, and other senior educators.
Mr Cellario congratulated the winners for their brilliant success and praised the educational community in the Principality. He said: “I am happy to celebrate your success and that of the Monegasque education system, for which I hope you will be ambassadors in the
brilliant studies that you will follow.” More than half of Monaco’s baccalaureate students achieved a ‘good’ or ‘very good’ mention.
Preliminary results achieved a 96.8 percent pass rate. The overall success rate after the oral examination rose to 99.08 percent.
