The Monaco Bus Company has announced a significant achievement for 2023: the number of trips taken on its network has surpassed seven million. This milestone, revealed on Thursday, August 29, marks a return to pre-pandemic levels and reflects a growing commitment to soft mobility within the Principality.
The last time Monaco reached the seven million trip mark was in 2017. However, numbers dropped to around six million in 2018 and 2019, and further plummeted to four million during the COVID-19 pandemic years of 2020 and 2021. Now, with over seven million trips recorded again in 2023, CAM views this as a promising sign for the future.
“A very encouraging figure for the development of soft mobility in the Principality,” commented CAM officials.
