Stéphane Valeri, Chairman of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, presented to Robert Calcagno, Director General of the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco, a cheque for 41,000 euros in the name of the Casinos de Monaco on Tuesday, April 25.
The donation was made as part of The Sea is Green program orchestrated by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer until May 10 and with the world free-diving record holder, Pierre Frolla, as patron.
Casinos certified by the European Casino Association as “Responsible Gaming” operators serve the principle that gaming remains a pleasure and can also serve noble causes.
The 41,000 euros represented the total amount of bonuses paid to loyal ‘My Monte-Carlo’ members.
Mr Robert Calcagno, Director General of the Oceanographic Institute, expressed his gratitude:” I sincerely welcome this donation which will support the missions of the Institute in its mission to “make the ocean known, loved and protected”.
Mr Stéphane Valeri, Chairman of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, said: “Working every day for an increasingly ethical and responsible game is our vision of Gaming at Monaco.
