Jean Castellini, Minister of Finance and the Economy, took part in a high-level meeting organised by Ministries of Finance and the Council of Europe Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Measures against money laundering and the financing of terrorism (MONEYVAL) on April 25 in Warsaw.
The meeting brought together ministers responsible for the anti-money laundering policies of the 35 MONEYVAL member countries and territories in order to discuss the strategy and future priorities of the Committee.
At the end of their exchanges, the Ministers adopted a political declaration and approved a strategy for the period 2023-2027.
The Principality reaffirmed its full involvement in the fight against money laundering of capital, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and its commitment to comply with the highest international standards.
