Christmas may still be several weeks away, but Robuchon Monaco is already tempting customers with a preview of its festive creations…
At a private presentation attended by clients and members of the Monegasque press, pastry chef Jérémy Tahon unveiled four Christmas Yule logs and three traditional King Cakes, offering a delicious sample of the delights in store for the festive period ahead.
This year’s Yule log collection features four flavours inspired by classic desserts: tiramisu, Black Forest, Paris-Brest and tarte Tatin. For Epiphany, the selection includes traditional almond frangipane, pistachio with orange blossom and kadaïf, and caramelised apple with almond and crumble.

The elegant creations require considerable preparation. Tahon explained that developing the four Yule logs required approximately two months of testing, with each recipe taking around three weeks to perfect. The aim was to give familiar favourites a contemporary twist whilst reducing their sugar content without compromising flavour.
The festive desserts are already available to order, with Yule logs arriving in participating Roubochon outlets in December and King Cakes following in early January. Prices for the logs start at €48 for four people or €75 for six, whilst the galettes range from €32 to €60.
