Jaeger-Seydoux succeeds Boscagli as the latter takes up her new position as an advisor within the cabinet of Prince Albert II. Jaeger-Seydoux brings considerable experience spanning the private, non-profit and public sectors, with around 25 years of her career devoted to sustainable development. A graduate of Sciences Po and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, she also has first-hand experience of the entrepreneurial world, having begun her career in a start-up.
Her career has subsequently placed her at the centre of several of Monaco’s environmental initiatives. She notably chaired the French committee of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation before spending six years leading the Energy Transition Mission within the Prince’s Government.
The appointment comes as MonacoTech continues to expand its role in helping innovative businesses develop and establish themselves in the Principality. Created in 2017 by the Prince’s Government, Monaco Telecom and entrepreneur Xavier Niel, MonacoTech has supported 68 projects. Around 30 have resulted in companies being established in Monaco, creating approximately 150 jobs and generating more than 50 industrial property filings in the Principality.
The incubator currently supports around 25 start-ups through its development programme and has recently evolved its selection process with the introduction of its “Test in Monaco” approach. Jaeger-Seydoux now takes responsibility for MonacoTech at a time when innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability are becoming increasingly intertwined within the Principality’s economic ambitions.
