The Salon International du Livre de Monaco returns to the Grimaldi Forum on September 5 and 6, bringing readers, writers and thinkers together for its 15th edition of one of the Principality’s key literary events.

Across two days, visitors will be taken on a journey through books, writing and direct conversation with authors, with the event once again bringing together local voices alongside major names from the wider literary world, reaffirming its commitment to promoting writing in all its forms, from novels and essays to contemporary reflection and diverse cultural perspectives.

This year’s programme includes conferences, author meet-and-greets, and discussions held in both public and more intimate formats, alongside open-mic sessions, all set within what organisers describe as a warm and convivial atmosphere. Confirmed guests so far span literature, science, history and culture, reflecting the Salon’s broad intellectual scope.

According to figures from the Grimaldi Forum, previous editions have drawn more than 150 authors and 3,400 visitors, supported by a programme of around 20 conferences. This year’s edition is expected to welcome roughly 170 authors, making it one of the largest editions in the Salon’s history.

For book lovers across the Principality, the event offers a rare chance to meet authors directly, discover new titles, and share in a broader celebration of reading and literary culture.
