The official poster for the 2026 edition of the SPORTEL Awards has been unveiled, designed to capture the instant when sport moves beyond raw performance to become emotion, artistry and pure spectacle.

Set against a sophisticated palette of deep blues and purples reflecting the elegance and prestige of the event, the artwork depicts a basketball player rising toward the hoop, driven by determination and the relentless pursuit of excellence, alongside a gymnast suspended mid-air in a moment of exceptional precision, balance and grace. A spectacular burst of golden powder sweeps across the composition, illuminating both athletes and evoking those rare sporting moments that become etched in history, more than a visual flourish, organisers describe the golden burst as a symbol of achievement, recognition and the unforgettable images that transcend generations, the very kind honoured each year by the Awards.

The poster was created by Aurely Antzemberger, a graphic designer holding an advanced degree in Applied Arts specialising in advertising design, known for colourful, sophisticated work that invites audiences to interpret and engage with each visual world she creates. Her past campaigns for major international events have previously earned her the Créaffiche Trophy.

The artwork forms part of the build-up to this year’s SPORTEL Awards ceremony, held on October 19, 2026, in Monaco, as part of the wider SPORTEL Monaco convention running October 19 to 21 at the Grimaldi Forum. Founded in 1990 at the initiative of Monégasque journalist and sports enthusiast Georges Bertellotti, the SPORTEL Awards are held under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II and the Patronage of the International Olympic Committee, and remain one of the convention’s most publicly accessible elements: an international competition honouring the year’s most outstanding sports footage, decided during a ceremony that remains free and open to the public.
