Monaco is becoming an increasingly popular launchpad for Brazilian companies eyeing European expansion, and the latest to make that move is Rennova, a major aesthetics and beauty multinational that has just signed on as an official sponsor of Monaco United, the Principality’s women’s football club.
The company already has an established international footprint, operating in more than 23 countries with a manufacturing base in South Korea and research partnerships with laboratories in Israel and Austria. It’s also a regular presence at some of the biggest names in aesthetic medicine, including IMCAS Paris, AMWC Dubai, and notably AMWC Monaco itself, meaning the Principality wasn’t an entirely unfamiliar market before this deal.
What makes Monaco particularly appealing, according to the company, is its concentration of businesses, research institutions and events built around health, innovation and wellbeing, precisely the sectors Rennova has been targeting as it looks beyond its home market in Brazil.
CEO Leonardo Rezende framed the sponsorship as a natural extension of the company’s approach to growth, one built on consistency and a long-term view rather than rapid, opportunistic expansion. He described the Monaco United partnership as reinforcing Rennova’s ambition to be recognised internationally as a distinctly Brazilian brand, one built on strengthening ties with key global markets over time.
Beyond the business logic, Rezende pointed to something more personal in the club’s appeal: a set of values he sees mirrored in Rennova’s own identity. Just as the company positions itself around the transformative potential of aesthetic health, he said, it also believes deeply in what sport can do, inspiring people, developing talent, and creating opportunity. He singled out Monaco United’s discipline, competitiveness and female leadership as qualities that made the partnership feel like a natural fit.
The timing isn’t incidental either. Women’s football has been enjoying a sustained rise in global visibility and investment, a trend that shows little sign of slowing as the sport heads toward its next major international tournament. For Rennova, aligning with a club at this moment offers a way to tap into that momentum directly, while giving Monaco United a further vote of confidence as it continues building its own profile on the international stage.
