A French DJ who has turned bakeries into unlikely dance floors is bringing his feel-good concept to Monaco this weekend, promising an energetic start to Sunday morning…
Dorian Gamon, better known on social media as DJ Baguette, has attracted a growing following by taking his turntables into bakeries across France. Rather than playing traditional nightclubs, he performs extended DJ sets surrounded by croissants, baguettes and customers collecting their morning bread.
The idea is deliberately unconventional but has a simple purpose: attracting people of different generations, encouraging them to interact and bringing a little music and fun into an everyday ritual. His appearances have become popular online, with videos showing customers dancing between the counters and joining in with the party atmosphere.
Now the concept is heading to the Principality, although this time the setting will be a hotel rather than a boulangerie.
DJ Baguette will take over the breakfast room at the Columbus Hotel Monte-Carlo on Sunday morning, August 16th, performing from 9am until 11am.
For guests accustomed to a peaceful coffee and croissant, breakfast promises to sound rather different – and perhaps provide an unexpected opportunity to dance before lunchtime.
