The Princess Stéphanie Youth Centre marked its 40th anniversary with a celebratory performance at Monaco’s Théâtre des Variétés, honouring four decades of supporting young people across the Principality…

Founded in 1986 and based in Fontvieille, the centre welcomes children and teenagers aged six to 17, offering a wide range of educational, creative and sporting activities throughout the year. From arts workshops and outdoor adventures to holiday camps and group outings, the centre has become a valued place where generations of young Monegasques have built friendships, developed confidence and learned important life skills.

To celebrate the milestone, children who had taken part in the centre’s programmes throughout the year presented a special show tracing its history from 1986 to 2026. Each decade was brought to life through themed performances and period costumes, highlighting how the centre has evolved while remaining true to its mission of helping young people grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Organisers said the values of sharing, listening, respect and socialisation remain at the heart of the centre’s work, emphasising their importance in helping children develop self-confidence and connect with others.

The evening concluded with a surprise appearance by Her Serene Highness Princess Stéphanie, who joined the children, families and educational teams to celebrate the anniversary, adding a memorable and fitting finale to the occasion.
