Speaking during the event, Thomas Brezzo underlined the importance of allowing European parliamentarians to better understand Monaco’s unique realities as a densely populated two-square-kilometre state.

Princess Charlene also took part in a working breakfast with the Women@PACE network of female parliamentarians. According to Béatrice Fresko-Rolfo, head of Monaco’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly, the Princess spoke about her foundation’s work to prevent drowning, as well as the role of sport in promoting respect, unity and social values.

The meetings concluded with a roundtable discussion focused on youth and artificial intelligence, with Monaco’s Junior National Councillors taking part in the debate.
