The iconic Monte Carlo Casino opened its doors to visitors this week for a special Careers Day designed to showcase the wide range of professions operating behind the scenes of one of Monaco’s most famous institutions…
Participants were given a rare look inside the historic casino, exploring areas ranging from gaming tables and slot machine rooms to technical departments and operational spaces rarely seen by the public. The immersive experience aimed to highlight not only the glamour associated with the Casino de Monte-Carlo, but also the extensive network of professions required to keep it running smoothly.
Visitors discovered that beyond croupiers and gaming staff, the casino relies on a broad range of specialists, including financial analysts, workshop technicians, electromechanical engineers and maintenance teams. Organisers stressed that many of these essential roles often remain invisible to the public despite offering strong career opportunities within the Société des Bains de Mer group.
The event also served as a recruitment opportunity, with particular demand for gaming staff, table operators and technical specialists working on automated machines and equipment.
Employing nearly 1,200 people, the Monte Carlo Casino remains one of Monaco’s largest and most prestigious employers, continuing to combine tradition, innovation and career development at the heart of the Principality.
