His Serene Highness Prince Albert II presented Charles Leclerc with the Goodwill Ambassador diploma at a ceremony held at the Hôtel de Paris, recognising the driver’s contribution to Monaco’s international profile…
The distinction, awarded by the Monaco Ambassadors Club, honours individuals whose achievements and commitment help promote the Principality around the world. Founded in 1973 by Princess Grace, the association has long celebrated figures who embody Monaco’s values on the global stage.
Through his success in Formula One, as well as his strong personal attachment to Monaco, Charles Leclerc was recognised as a natural ambassador for the Principality. His career, marked by determination and excellence, continues to resonate far beyond the sporting world.

The award was presented during a prestigious gala evening attended by leading figures from Monaco’s social and business communities. During the event, Leclerc and his wife Alexandra also received a personal gift marking their recent marriage, adding a more intimate note to the ceremony.
With this honour, the Monegasque driver formally joins the ranks of the Monaco Ambassadors Club’s goodwill ambassadors, reinforcing his role as one of the Principality’s most visible and influential representatives on the international stage.
