The Commission responsible for allocating state-owned housing met on March 6, 2026, at the Ministry of State under the presidency of Pierre-André Chiappori, Minister of Finance and Economy…

The session followed a call for applications held between September 15 and October 10, 2025. During the meeting, the commission approved the allocation of 156 state apartments to eligible households. This included 49 newly built apartments in Block A of the Héméra Residence, following the allocation last year of the building’s Block B units. In addition, 107 renovated apartments located across the Principality were distributed to applicants.

The results highlight the capacity of Monaco’s state housing programme to respond to the evolving needs of residents, particularly when family circumstances require changes in accommodation. More than two-thirds of applicants whose households had grown and required an additional room received an offer adapted to their situation.

The commission also noted that 60 percent of applicants who previously did not have housing in the Principality received a proposal through the latest allocations.

Since the launch of Monaco’s National Housing Plan in 2019, more than 1,300 apartments have been allocated to Monegasque households. The programme reflects the government’s ongoing effort to adapt the state housing stock to the needs of residents.

This policy continues through a combination of new construction projects, accelerated renovation of existing buildings and the gradual modernisation of apartment standards to improve living conditions for Monegasque families.
