Later the same day, HSH Prince Albert II took his place among distinguished guests at San Siro Stadium for the official opening ceremony. Among those present were King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence, and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, underlining the significance of the event on the international stage.
