At the heart of Fontvieille, innovation met inspiration on Tuesday when a group of 12 final-year engineering students from Mines Paris visited the headquarters of Venturi…

Accompanied by two of their professors, the young engineers were given a rare glimpse into some of the company’s most ambitious projects — from electric vehicles that have set world speed records to those designed to operate in Antarctica’s extreme conditions.

The highlight for many was Venturi’s lunar rover, currently under development and expected to operate on the Moon in the near future. Students specialising in mechanics and materials were particularly struck by the rover’s advanced wheel technology and the variety of materials used, offering them insight into challenges far beyond the classroom.

For Venturi, which has grown into one of Monaco’s most innovative companies, the visit was also an opportunity to showcase its philosophy: combining the expertise of a small, highly skilled team with fresh ideas from the next generation. Engineers encouraged the students to maintain curiosity and a passion for learning — traits essential to pushing boundaries in technology.

With graduation approaching in March, some students may soon return to Venturi for internships, with the possibility of joining its cutting-edge projects full-time.
