This summer was a busy one for the Guides and Scouts of Monaco, who combined outdoor adventures with international exchanges and community service projects.
The season began in Beuil, where the youngest members, the Farfadets (ages 6 to 8), enjoyed their first camp experience. Soon after, the Jeannettes and Cubs (8 to 11) traveled to Switzerland to join an international gathering of scouts.
For the older groups, the program expanded further. The Scouts aged 11 to 14 camped in Montbolo in the Pyrénées-Orientales, while the 14- to 17-year-olds set off for Slovenia to explore the Balkans.
On a larger scale, five young scouts from Monaco took part in the Moot in Portugal, a worldwide event held every four years that attracts around 5,000 participants aged 18 to 25.
The highlight of the summer came from across the Atlantic, where a team of young leaders traveled to Argentina. In the province of Chaco, they worked alongside the local community of Misión Nueva Pompeya to renovate the kitchen of the village school.
From local camps to projects abroad, the summer offered Monaco’s scouts a mix of discovery, teamwork, and service that will leave lasting memories.
