Monaco will once again host one of the most electrifying events of the summer as the UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF returns to the Principality on July 18–19, 2025…

The world’s first and only all-electric raceboat series will see nine global teams, each with one male and one female pilot, take to the water in a high-stakes, high-glamour contest just off the Monte-Carlo coastline.

Backed by some of the world’s biggest stars, from Rafael Nadal and Didier Drogba to Steve Aoki, the E1 series fuses cutting-edge sport with global celebrity appeal. Last year, Team Brady stole the show in Monaco, with Tom Brady and Didier Drogba watching from the sidelines as their team clinched victory in front of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II.

This year, French fans will be rooting for Tom Chiappe of Team Rafa, who returns to the circuit aiming to improve on a strong qualifying performance from 2024. The action will unfold against the elegant backdrop of the Yacht Club de Monaco, which will once again host E1’s exclusive Ocean Club and serve as the home of the championship’s Pilot Academy—a talent incubator that has already yielded two podium finishers this season.

The Monaco race marks the fifth stop in a seven-city global calendar, which also includes destinations such as Doha, Lagos, and Miami. The event further underscores the Principality’s leadership in sustainable innovation, marine electrification, and environmental regeneration—principles at the heart of the E1 championship.
