The Princely Government and Monaco Telecom are encouraging residents to take advantage of free mobile applications designed to identify and block unwanted calls, as telephone scams and automated solicitations continue to affect mobile users.
The initiative highlights two applications, Saracroche and Blocall, both available on iOS and Android. Developed in France, the apps use a collaborative reporting system to identify numbers flagged by users as unwanted, helping people filter out nuisance calls originating from France and other countries.
Both applications also include features to identify certain fraudulent text messages, offering an additional layer of protection against telephone-based scams. According to the authorities, their functions are designed with user confidentiality and personal data protection in mind.

Beyond helping users configure call-blocking tools, the centre provides advice on recognising online scams and adopting safer digital habits. Its services aim to make digital technology more accessible while helping the public navigate the risks associated with increasingly common forms of fraud.
Established in 2021 by Monaco Telecom in partnership with the Princely Government and Monaco Town Hall, the Maison du numérique provides free information, assistance and support with digital services. It has welcomed more than 2,000 people since opening.
