Monaco’s yachting industry continues to demonstrate its economic strength, generating nearly €660 million in turnover during 2025, according to the latest figures from the Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (IMSEE)…

As reported by Monaco-Matin, the latest maritime economy report reveals that yachting-related revenue reached €659.7 million, excluding financial and insurance activities. This represents an increase of €92.6 million compared with 2022, equivalent to growth of 16.3 percent, significantly outpacing the Principality’s overall economic growth of 3.6 percent during the same period.

The industry now comprises 475 businesses, an increase of 15.6 percent over three years, and supports 1,495 jobs, up 4.6 percent. Wholesale trading accounts for the largest share of employment, with 527 positions.

The wider maritime economy presents a more mixed picture. Across 734 establishments, employment stands at 3,316, while combined turnover reached €1.7 billion in 2025, representing a decline of 7.3 percent since 2022. However, IMSEE attributes this reduction entirely to the performance of a single wholesale business.

Encompassing everything from yacht design and maintenance to maritime transport, provisioning and marine insurance, the sector remains an important contributor to Monaco’s economy, with yachting continuing to drive much of its growth.
