Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene welcomed leading philanthropists, business executives and representatives of civil society to the Yacht Club de Monaco on Monday, October 12, for the 15th edition of the Philanthropy Roundtable…

The vent was an international gathering dedicated to addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Jointly organised by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Tocqueville Foundation, the event brought together influential figures from different backgrounds to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore how philanthropy can contribute to tackling global issues.

The discussions provided an opportunity to consider the role of private initiatives, charitable organisations and businesses in supporting projects that deliver meaningful benefits to communities.

The gathering also reflected Monaco’s established position as a meeting place for international philanthropy, bringing together individuals and organisations with a shared interest in encouraging cooperation and long-term positive change. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, founded in 2006, is particularly recognised for its work protecting the environment, combating climate change and promoting sustainable development.

Now in its 15th edition, the Philanthropy Roundtable continues to provide a forum for dialogue between international decision-makers and those working to address social and environmental challenges. The event underlined the importance of exchanging expertise and building partnerships to help translate philanthropic ambitions into practical action.
