Monte-Carlo Wine is bringing together Monegasque style and Provençal winemaking with a collection designed to capture the contemporary spirit of the Mediterranean…

Created by a group of friends united by their affection for Monaco and the French Riviera, the company produces wines using grapes grown in Provence. Working under licence from Monaco Brands, its first releases included the Riviera range, whose design draws inspiration from the glamorous Côte d’Azur of the 1920s and 1930s. The subsequent Monaco Collection has helped establish the wines in restaurants and hospitality venues.

The brand has also developed a collaboration with Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, daughter of Prince Albert II, who has become closely involved in a cuvée bearing her name. Her role extends beyond promotion, with participation in vineyard visits, grape harvesting and wine selection, as well as contributing ideas to the presentation and design.

Rather than simply trading on Monaco’s past, the company says its aim is to reflect the Principality as it is today and where it is heading.

With its Monegasque identity firmly established, Monte-Carlo Wine is now looking beyond the Principality, with ambitions to introduce its distinctly Riviera-inspired wines to a wider international audience.
