Casino de Monte-Carlo has once again earned international recognition after its dealers delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 European Dealer Championship, continuing the venue’s strong record at one of the gaming industry’s most prestigious competitions.
Held in Baden-Baden, Germany, the annual championship brought together nearly 40 dealers from around 20 European countries to compete in a series of technical and practical challenges designed to showcase the highest standards of casino gaming expertise.
Representing Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, Casino de Monte-Carlo dealers Manon Martire and Christopher Elena both returned with multiple honours.
Martire secured third place in the overall championship standings after competing in the English Roulette and Blackjack disciplines. Having joined Casino de Monte-Carlo in 2022, her podium finish continues the venue’s recent success at the competition.
Elena, who has worked at the casino since 2016, received five individual awards recognising his technical skills. He was named Best Push Stacks and Best Chip Cutting, while also winning the Side Event titles for Best Chipper, Best Card Handler and Best Mathematician.
The latest achievements build on Casino de Monte-Carlo’s recent success at the European Dealer Championship. In 2024, the venue claimed the overall championship title through dealer Noémie Serra, while in 2025 Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s casinos were recognised as the Best Slot Machine Team.
Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer attributed this year’s results to its long-established in-house training programme, delivered through the Monte-Carlo SBM Academy. Introduced during the 2014–2015 period, the programme provides comprehensive instruction across the casino’s six premium table games, with experienced dealers passing on the skills and standards that have defined Casino de Monte-Carlo since its opening in 1863.
The latest honours further reinforce Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s standing within the European gaming industry, following its recognition as Best Overall Casino 2026 at the European Casino Awards, presented during ICE Barcelona earlier this year.
