The woman identified by Monegasque investigators as the prime suspect in last week’s bomb attack targeting Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev has reportedly been found dead in Ukraine, while two other suspects have been arrested in connection with the case…
As reported by Ukrainska Pravda, the body of 39-year-old Anastasiia Berezovska was discovered near Kyiv at around 11:00 pm on July 6. Ukrainian law enforcement sources told the publication she had been shot dead. At the time of writing, neither the Monegasque authorities nor Ukrainian officials have publicly confirmed the reports.
According to Ukrainska Pravda, Berezovska had been outside Ukraine from March 22, 2025 until July 1, 2026, shortly after the attack in Monaco. The publication also reported that two men have been detained in connection with the case, including an active officer of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence and a former law enforcement officer.
Berezovska was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice after investigators alleged she planted the explosive device that detonated outside Yermolaiev’s Monaco residence on June 29, seriously injuring the businessman, his partner and a 13-year-old boy.
The investigation remains active in Monaco as authorities continue efforts to identify those responsible for planning and orchestrating the attack.
