The Monaco Economic Board (MEB) has unveiled an ambitious programme of international initiatives for the coming year while announcing plans to strengthen its role by becoming the Monaco Chamber of Commerce…
Members, partners and business leaders gathered at the Le Méridien Beach Plaza for the organisation’s annual meeting, where the past year’s achievements were reviewed and a packed schedule of overseas missions and new projects was presented. Among the highlights are economic missions to Slovenia and China, organised in close partnership with Invest Monaco as part of a broader strategy to enhance the Principality’s international attractiveness.
MEB Executive Director Justin Highman also revealed that the organisation will adopt the new name Monaco Chamber of Commerce, reflecting a role it says it has historically fulfilled. The change is intended to reinforce its position as the principal representative body for Monaco’s business community while bringing it even closer to its growing membership.
Now approaching 400 members, the organisation says its continued expansion reflects the strength of Monaco’s economy and its enduring appeal to international businesses and investors.
The meeting also highlighted the Principality’s wider attractiveness, from its economic opportunities to its tourism offering. Industry representatives noted that visitors continue to be drawn by Monaco’s history, culture and major international events, as well as its reputation for luxury and exceptional quality of life.
