Want to understand Monaco in a single publication? The latest edition of Monaco in Numbers, produced by Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (IMSEE), aims to do exactly that, bringing together the key economic, demographic and social indicators that define the Principality…

Presented this week to members of the Monaco Economic Board, the annual publication marks the 15th edition of what has become an essential reference guide for anyone seeking to understand how Monaco functions. According to IMSEE Director Alexandre Bubbio, the report consolidates all of the data released by the institute throughout the year into one comprehensive and accessible volume.

Among the new features in the 2025 edition is a detailed study of private-sector salaries. For the first time, readers can explore wage levels by sector, gender and age group, providing a clearer picture of Monaco’s labour market. The figures show that the median full-time equivalent salary in Monaco is between €3,000 and €3,500 per month, significantly higher than comparable figures in neighbouring France.

The publication also highlights the continued strength of Monaco’s economy, with employment growth continuing into the first quarter of 2026 and surpassing previous records.

Beyond economics, Monaco in Numbers covers topics ranging from foreign trade and GDP to museum attendance, environmental indicators, green spaces and bathing water quality. Designed as a statistical snapshot of the Principality, the publication offers readers a detailed overview of Monaco’s economy, society and quality of life. Available in both print and digital formats, it serves as a valuable resource for residents, businesses, researchers and visitors alike.
