One of Monaco’s most recognisable waterfront addresses has entered a new era with the launch of Stars of Monaco, a reimagined hospitality destination taking over the legendary Port Hercule location long associated with the Principality’s social scene.
For more than three decades, the venue at Quai Antoine Ier served as a gathering point for residents, visitors, business leaders, sports personalities and local families. Following an extensive transformation, the site has reopened with a renewed identity while retaining many of the elements that made it a Monaco institution.
Positioned directly on the harbourfront, Stars of Monaco combines an international restaurant, cocktail bar, family-friendly facilities and private event spaces under one roof. The concept has been designed to create a destination that evolves throughout the day, welcoming guests for business lunches, after-work drinks, family dinners and evening entertainment.
The culinary offering blends familiar favourites with premium ingredients. Several dishes inspired by the venue’s history have returned to the menu, including its well-known salads, burgers and signature desserts, while new additions feature products such as burrata, truffle, fresh pasta, wild king prawns and Charolais beef.
A central focus of the relaunch is the venue’s social atmosphere. A packed weekly programme includes live music, themed evenings, jazz sessions, DJ performances, aperitivo events and happy hours designed to attract both Monaco residents and international visitors.
The bar has also been redesigned as a key focal point of the experience, featuring classic cocktails alongside long-standing customer favourites. Entertainment and live sporting events are expected to play a prominent role throughout the year.
Families remain at the heart of the concept. The popular Kids Club, a feature closely associated with the venue’s previous incarnation, has been retained and expanded, offering supervised activities for younger guests each evening.
Beyond its restaurant and leisure offering, Stars of Monaco is positioning itself as a major events destination. Several dedicated spaces overlooking Port Hercule are available for corporate functions, private celebrations, product launches and receptions, with capacities ranging from intimate gatherings to events hosting hundreds of guests.
Management says the objective is to create a venue that reflects modern Monaco while preserving the welcoming spirit that made the address famous.
With its blend of dining, entertainment and community-focused experiences, Stars of Monaco is aiming to write the next chapter in the story of one of the Principality’s most iconic waterfront locations.
