Monte-Carlo’s legendary Casino Square experienced an unprecedented surge in visitors on December 31, 2025, drawing a record-breaking 30,874 people to ring in the New Year. The milestone marks a significant rise in attendance compared to previous years, underscoring the square’s growing appeal as a festive destination.

Just two years ago, the New Year’s Eve crowd stood at around 15,000 in 2023, before climbing to approximately 23,000 in 2024. The latest figures represent a dramatic leap forward, more than doubling attendance over a three-year period.

The statistics were made public on Wednesday by Stéphane Valeri, President-Delegate of the Société des Bains de Mer, during his annual address to members of the press. Speaking at the event, Valeri highlighted the success as a reflection of Monaco’s increasing international draw and the evolving attractiveness of its flagship locations.
