Under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, the International Épée Tournament of Monaco will return on January 10 and 11, 2026, transforming the Espace Saint-Antoine into a showcase of top-level international fencing…

Staged across 17 pistes, the competition is expected to attract close to 200 athletes, bringing together some of the strongest épée talent from across Europe and beyond. The programme features individual men’s and women’s events, with particularly strong representation in the women’s category as part of the National Senior Ladies circuit in France. More than 130 elite female fencers are expected to compete, adding further prestige and competitive depth to the tournament. For many athletes, Monaco offers a rare opportunity to measure themselves against international opposition in a high-quality sporting environment.

The highlight of the weekend will be the finals, scheduled for Sunday, January 11 at 16:00 in the Espace Saint-Antoine multisports hall. Among the most coveted prizes is the Cup of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, awarded to the top performers.

The tournament is open to senior épéeists, with selected junior fencers competing in higher categories. International competitors must hold a valid licence from their national federation. Full event details and registration information are available at escrimemonaco.com.
