The long-standing tradition of generosity continued on the morning of Friday 14th November, as His Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene personally distributed the Monaco Red Cross’ annual gift parcels to senior citizens in need…
Held at the organisation’s headquarters, the event once again underscored the Principality’s commitment to supporting its most vulnerable residents during the National Day period.
Camille Gottlieb, Head of the Youth Section of the Monaco Red Cross, attended alongside members of the Board of Directors and the many volunteers who help coordinate the initiative each year. Together, they welcomed the beneficiaries and assisted with the distribution of the festive gourmet parcels, prepared especially for the occasion.
In total, 115 seniors received their gifts and had the opportunity to meet the Princely Couple, who are steadfast supporters of Red Cross outreach programmes. The atmosphere was warm and personal, reflecting a tradition that places older residents at the heart of Monaco’s celebrations.
For the Red Cross, this annual gesture is both symbolic and practical: a reminder of community solidarity and a moment of direct connection between the institution, its volunteers, and those they assist.
