A former National Councillor, he was also Director General of Games at the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, where he played a key role in shaping the Principality’s casino and entertainment sector. Known for his professionalism and his deep sense of service to Monaco, Palmaro’s long career reflected his dedication to both civic duty and the cultural prestige of the Principality.

His passing marks the loss of one of Monaco’s most experienced and admired personalities from the post-war generation — a man who contributed significantly to the development of the Monte-Carlo legend. The funeral service for Francis Palmaro will take place on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Dévote Church, where friends, colleagues, and residents will gather to pay their respects.
