Monaco joined the continent-wide celebration of European Heritage Days this weekend, as the Town Hall and several of its cultural institutions opened their doors to the public for a day dedicated to art, music, and discovery.
Residents and visitors alike were invited to explore the Rainier III Academy, the Bosio Pavilion, and the Botanical Centre of the Exotic Garden, each offering a glimpse into the Principality’s artistic and scientific heritage. Exhibitions, concerts, and guided tours gave participants the chance to experience the creative energy that runs through Monaco’s municipal institutions.
The event took place in the presence of several members of the municipal council, including Chloé Boscagli (3rd Deputy), Jacques Pastor (4th Deputy), Jean-Marc Deoriti-Castellini (7th Deputy), Karyn Ardisson-Salopek (8th Deputy), Georges Gambarini, and Nathalie Vaccarezza.
Throughout the day, visitors discovered the work of local artists and students, explored exhibitions highlighting the city’s cultural heritage, and attended live performances that filled the venues with music and movement.
The initiative forms part of a broader European effort to make culture more accessible and to celebrate shared heritage across borders. For Monaco, it was an opportunity to showcase not only its institutions but also the community’s ongoing commitment to preserving and promoting its rich cultural identity.
